Refreshing Watermelon Lemonade (Refined Sugar-Free!)
Summer is finally here – and you better believe I’m savoring EVERY. SINGLE. BIT. OF. SUNSHINE!
This refreshing Watermelon Lemonade is perfect for your afternoon picnic, a backyard BBQ, or sippin’ on while you’re watching Chip + Joanna do magic on houses… (Please tell me I’m not alone on this one?!)
I love this lemonade because it's delicious, made without refined-sugar, and easy to spruce up or down. Sometimes I add sparkling water to my lemonade; other times I toss in a few mint leaves. It's versatile--like your favorite sundress.
What You’ll Need:
- 6 cups of seedless watermelon, chopped into 1-inch chunks
- The juice of 4 lemons
- 1/2-3/4 cup agave syrup (sweeten to your liking)
- 2 cups filtered water
- 1 cup crushed ice
- A Blender
- Optional: Genesis Juice Cold-Pressed Strawberry Lemonade
Puree watermelon and lemon juice in a blender. Add in water and pulse. Then, add in 2 tbsp. of Agave syrup and pulse; use a clean spoon to taste. Continue adding agave until you’ve reached your desired sweetness! Finally, add ice and enjoy!
Optional: For an even more unique flavor, add a bottle of Genesis Organic Cold Pressed Strawberry Lemonade (made with agave) to the batch!
